Saturday, Feb. 24. Book signing at MedVed Running and Walking Outfitters, 3400 Monroe Ave, Pittsford, N.Y., 14618. Amy will give a short presentation at noon then sign books and chat until 4 p.m.

Monday, March 12. The Accidental Athlete: The Messy Art of Pursing Your Passion. Buffalo and Erie County Central Library, 1 Lafayette Square, Buffalo, NY 15203. Noon to 1 p.m. Amy Moritz has spent her life working as a sports reporter, telling the tales of athletes of all kinds. But it wasn’t until she hit her 30s that she finally answered the call to be an athlete herself. In this presentation, Amy discusses her journey of defining and pursuing her own athletic identity while discussing how to listen to what’s truly calling you and find the courage to live your passion in all its messy, beautiful reality.
