I’ve already referenced the book “As Good As Gold” by Kathryn Bertine in previous posts but today you get my full review in video form.
This weekend, Bertine is competing at the Fitchburg Longsjo Classic cycling race in Fitchburg, Mass. I caught up with her via phone for an interview and insight, which you can read over on the GoTRIbal website. Her story has revived thoughts on the state of women’s professional cycling and its obscurity on the sporting scene. More thoughts on that later. First, here’s a look at her book which is witty, conversational, informative and inspirational whether you’re male or female, athlete or observer:[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISA0bFZLP-4&hl=en_US&fs=1]
