A few more precious hours on Miami Beach before my friends and I make the trip to the airport and return to Buffalo. The last few days have been about relaxing and recovery. While I did a few very, very slow jogs along the beach and a few laps in the hotel pool, my time was spent letting my body recovery from the consistent training and the race. I ate gelato and pizza and enjoyed doing nothing much for a few days.
Recovery time is important and often I have to get past equating “recovery” and “rest” with “sloth.” That’s no where near the case![youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DG3HjrqA7Hs&hl=en&fs=1]
